Lawrence Ian Reed, Ph.D.

Lawrence Ian Reed, Ph.D., is a clinical assistant professor at New York University. He earned his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh and served as director of psychological services at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is also co-chair of the New York University HxA Campus Community Network. His research on facial expression, emotion, and cooperation has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed academic papers. In addition, Dr. Reed specializes in treating adolescents and adults with mood disorders (e.g., depression and anxiety) and emotional disorders (e.g., borderline personality disorder).
